Keith Brady has an extensive record of public, community, and civic service. He has served as Mayor since 1994.
His active memberships include Past President and Active Board Member of the Georgia Municipal Association, Past Chairman and Active Board Member of the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, Board Member of the Newnan Downtown Development Authority, Chairman of Explore Newnan-Coweta Board, and Member of the University of Georgia's Gridiron Society.
Past Memberships include Board of Trustees of United Way, Chairman of the Newnan-Coweta Boys & Girls Club, Chairman of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Technology Board of Directors, Newnan Kiwanis Board of Directors, and President of the Newnan Bulldog Club.
His Professional Memberships include the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and the Newnan Coweta Board of Realtors.
On a personal note, Mayor Brady was born and educated in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor's degree in Business in 1974. After graduating from UGA, he moved to Newnan and worked in the family business until 1992. He is currently the co-owner and Broker of Josey Young & Brady Realty.
He and his wife, Katie, have two children, Jason married to Mattie (Chisolm) and Laura married to Brian Smith. They have four grandchildren - Grier Brady, Catherine "Sister" Brady, Benjamin Smith, and Barron Smith.
The family are members of Central Baptist Church in downtown Newnan.
